Has anyone had any problem with damage or breakage of the fins , in this situation , I have a Hobie compass on Oder ,and I was just wondering if you were pushed backwards in a wave or a swell at sea and the fins hit rocks , surely the fins would not kick up and break , i presume they would only kick back when you going forward or same in reverse. Any thought on this ?

Correct. You can damage them if backing the boat up with the fins down. Just use the bungee hook attached to one of the pedals to hold the fins up against the hull.

Hi Matt thank you for your reply on this Really looking forward to getting my compass , I presume I can also just keep pedal back when my feet are in cleats and fins should stay up.
