Dear Hobie,

I just got a new Hobie Mirage Compass. When I try to put the seat strap into the holder mounted on the side of the kayak, it points forward instead of up or back so that the strap is in an awkward position. I tried to unloosen the screws but they are in really tight and understandably didn't want to strip them on a new kayak.

What do you recommend that I do to solve this? If I loose them myself, they are large phillips or looks like a #4 square drive.

Thanks in advance!

PS can also post a pic if that helps

So need to use a big phillips with wrench to turn the screws. Whew... Can't wait to get it on the water!
