 Post subject: Tightening rudder cables

I have a compass duo 2022, rudder cable screw keeps coming loose. I don’t want to tighten it too much any help will be appreciated thanks.

Definitely a question to be answered by a Hobie tech or an experienced kayak repair person but is using Loctite a possibility on that screw?

I run two wraps of the rudder line around the screw, counter-clockwise. No issues.

As mentioned in the video I posted earlier, the kayak's dimensions can fluctuate from temperature changes, sufficient enough to induce loose or tight rudder lines.
