Is there a minimum weight capacity for the Compass, to get maximum stability? My wife has updated her 2007 Hobie Outback to the new Compass and we just want to make sure the kayak will respond to her small frame.

I've not heard of a "minimum weight". I think she'll do just fine in a Compass. Good choice.

I weigh 140lbs soaking wet and fish with very minimal gear (no Boxes, coolers, H rails, etc). I take my Compass out in the Pacific Ocean and it handles sweetly
