Someone asked me a little while ago to post pix of the gin pole solution I installed on my trailer. At the time I wasn't up on posting pix here plus by the time I got back to it I forgot which of the threads I've participated in was the one that needed the post.

Anyway, below you can see a pretty easy and affective solution that extends above the top of the mast holder to a height that makes raising the mast single-handedly possible while on the trailer. When I'm underway and not raising the mast and needing this extension I simply remove it and store it in the tool box for next time.

I took a piece of 1"x2" steel and drilled it to receive bolts and wing nuts on the lower end, and recessed bolts to attach the roller and frame on the top end.
