Hello all. I am looking for my first hobie, and I have a few questions about hull weight. First off, I am not interested in racing this boat, but I do have a friendly rivalry with a couple people on the lake I sail at, so I do want a reasonably fast boat. I know that the minimum hull weight is 320lbs, and that boats around 1984 got lightened by 20lbs to that minimum weight. I am going to look at a 1980 hobie 16, so I expect it to weigh around 340lbs, but I do not know what should weigh 340lbs. So my question: what do I weigh? Are the boom and mast included, with all rigging, or is it just the hulls and tramp? Help appreciated. :D
Thanks in advance.

Those weights are "all up" sailing weight.
