I have a 2008 H16 that came with the aussie rig. On my mast, the cheek block is centered on the front of the mast directly below the jib halyard cleat.

After hoisting the jib, and pulling the mast forward, should I run the halyard down and around the cheek block before tie off at the cleat or just tie to cleat?
