Does anyone out there know where I can find sail prices for the European H16 sails? I'm looking for something a little different from what we see in N America.

I'll second that, it's too bad you can't use the word "COOL" for any NA 16 sail in the past 10+ years. Sailing a Hobie with almost plain white sails is like eating a bologna sandwich, with nothing but mayonaise and the crust cut off.

I can buy "Spirit" through my local dealer and I already have "Misty". I was thinking about "Grany", "Boomer", "Tropic", "Sand", or "Sunset". Can you get any of these? I would like to have something that is a little different than everyone else has in North America.

the only way I think this is going to happen is have Hobie make you a Custom sail from the sail cloth they have in stock, I don't think Hobie USA would import sails from over seas, and they cannot ship into the states from there either. I will keep my eyes open, or find someone that is traveling over there to bring you know home. If I run across anything I will be sure to let you know.

Thanks,
Brad Stephens

O.K. this is what I found on the German web site of Hobie Europe...
http://www.hobie-cat.net/site_de/index. ... s,hobie_16
... scroll down look for the word "Segelfarben" click it
it shows the following... Tropic, Sand, Sunset, Djerba, Sunrise.
I will travel to Germany later in September - Have to think about if I have space.

You can view the sail colors under the Union Jack as well. At least here it is proper English. http://www.hobie-cat.net/site_gb/?produits,hobie_16 For those who care, I think all sails except those in N.A. are made in China. Ours are still made in U.S.A
Cheers.

You might be surprised about the prices for sails here in europe, a set of new coloured H16 sails is about 2150$.
