Since it is about 14 degrees outside I thought that I would do some repair work on my jib. Does anyone out there know what weight the dacron is? My clew has a small tear and I would like to take it all apart and replace the torn section. I have the time and equipment, but will need to get the material.
I know that everyone hires a professional, but I am a do it yourselfer. I learn more and I like the independence. I'm not a racer, so this is not critical. Any ideas about the dacron weight?

Here is one reference:

http://www.whirlwindsails.com/h16.htm
