Class legal sails and tramp (not hobie brand)??

I think the moral of this argument and the solution is that us cheap college students and others with limited funds should try to expand the world of recreational racing. Because then those who have the money to buy stock Hobie parts (they are at reasonable prices for sailboats, considering the quality) can race against each other and have their rankings and classes and rules and standards, while those of us who are makeshift-rigging half of our boat, and adding hooters to our H14's, and adding hydrofoils and blocks to our 16's and who knows what to our larger boats,... can just race our own way, and have our own not-so-competitive world of Hobie.

And it is true that this exists on some level within our fleets and divisions, but from my perspective, at a rate of about 10% relative to total races. I think there should be a forum on here dedicated to everything non-regulation. That is like most of the H14 forum anyway, and maybe some of the others I don't browse.

And then children, this argument shant be had again.

The original sails and tramps last 20 years with moderate care. If you figure out the cost per year, they are the best deal for the money.
