The water temp is in the 60's...geeze your right wet suit not required, a dry suit is would be better suited.

thats just ridiculous. 90 degrees. I've still got my youthful temperature tolerance at 20, and have yet to wear a wetsuit while sailing the ocean or any lakes. especially with that heatwave. Last friday, at lexington reservoir by me, the winds were killer. Better than any ive ever had in the ocean here. Constant, no puffiness, speed in the high 20s. It was beautiful. especially because two days before was during that heat wave, and i was just watching my telocat spin in circles when i was doing things like closehaul and all of a sudden the booms flying at me. I ended up just holding onot the mainsheet and tiller from behind the boat, and sailing it that way because it was so hot. Id like to try that with a kneeboard.

anyway. thats my rant/ story/ fun

HobieDude - I'm hearing there is consistent wind on the Sacramento River in Rio Vista. I also hear it blows 15-20 kts. and is pretty consistent. That should shake off any boredom. Nothing like going from one end of the spectrum to the other.
