I helped a couple rig their Hobie 16 for the first time yesterday, and noticed that the it had "Hyper V" on the rear of each hull. It was an old boat. Did Hobie have different models of H16's? Was there something about this model that made it different?

Hyper V? Not a Hobie thing. Maybe just a boat name or dealer sticker.
