I am going to upgrade my boat at some point to have the jib traveler kit but wasn't planning on it right now. Currently, I have all of my corner castings removed from my boat and was wondering, does the Harken 40 mm Carbo Cheek on each corner casting thru bolt to the casting, rivited in place, or will I need to tap out threads on my corner casting? If it's thru bolted I think I should at least instal the cheeks to the casting b4 reassembling my boat. Thanks,
Cory

rivets work fine, no need to thru bolt.

There won't be a lot of shear stress on the cheek blocks so rivets will work just dandy.
