bought a 16 out of storage

ropes look shot

Does anyone have a list of ropes I need to get before Im seaworthy .....?

Or, sometimes they are called sheets, as in main sheet and jib sheet. :D

I love to say, "pull that string over there" when I'm on a sailing club boat with the more nautical people in the club. :lol:

Put the old ropes in a mesh bag and toss them in the washing machine (front loader is preferred) with the sheets. You may find that they clean up very nicely. Dry them on a clothesline

Pro tip from my wife: don't clean dirty ropes with laundry, wash separately.
