I have a 1995 16 with the integrated tracks. My jib traveler broke recently but no replacements seem to fit into the track!? I tried the new style with the brass wheels and the old style, all plastic car. Neither will fit! When I compared the new all plastic cars with the old broken one, the old ones seem to be thinner in the track (see picture).

The left is the old one, right is the new one. Note the thickness difference in the part that slides into the track. (not the width, but the "height")

Have there been any major changes to the cross bars in recent years?
why cant i replace my jib cars!?

Yep, 95 was a funky year for crossbars. Early in the year and I believe late '94 they had the shallower track. MM (or someone else) knows for sure. I'm not sure if they came up with a real solution to make the jib cars fit, but I have ground down the newer cars before to make them fit. They might have a few of the right cars laying around though. Wait until Monday and see what the factory says.

OK, well sanded and sanded until the darn thing fit. It is in the track and working now. I feel a lot better. I just wich Hobie had said something about the shallow track issues. I guess they are trying to ignore it.
