My newly acquired ‘82 H-16 has an issue with the mast step and dolphin striker leaving the front crossbar damaged beyond repair, so I’m trying to get the corner castings to budge from the hulls and they aren’t moving.
Wondering if someone can recommend a trick like taking a torch and heating the castings while tapping them up?
Or because the front crossbar is damaged anyway, take the skillsaw and cut off said crossbar, allowing rotational movement to loosen the corner castings?
The replacement front crossbar and its associated hardware is on site to immediately reinstall.
