I have a hydraulic swaging tool and was figuring on diy'ing my own halyard replacement to save a buck. Anyone have experience with this? I'm using 3/32" stainless rope but can't seem to find info on the proper size, material and die size for the coupling crimps and stops - do these have to be stainless as well or will coated copper be sufficient. TIA!
