SPeaking of rigging alone, I am selling my Hobie 14 today and wanted to rig it up for the guy when he came to pick it up, so I stepped the mast just now in my front yard, but on the way up I managed to trip and let the mast fall a few feet before catching it....with my car. Don't worry there is no damage to the boat, but the roof rack of my explorer is missing some paint.

Oh that isn't the first paint my explorer is missing, after 164,000 miles you kinda expect to have a few dents and dings. But I have noticed that since I started sailing and carrying masts, booms, and other metal parts around my car the number of scratchs has seem to have risen.

Try working in constuction. Those heathens have no respect for a vehicle.
