Everything is soooo right, but not sure about the hull color

Looks like you have a hard decission to make. Hopefully they both boats look as good as they do in thier pictures. What are the asking prices? Based on what you've said and the pictures provided, the Gonzo 16 has my vote. I will be looking forward to your next post to see if you did indeed make a decission on either boat.

The owner of the Gonzo 1981 H16 quoted me $1350.

The 1980 H16 with Sunfish package is $2300. He will separate the package and sell the Hobie with trailer for $1600. These are good prices for around here. I'm still going to wheel and deal. That's just my nature.
The 1984 H16 I really, really want is priced at $3300. He is taking offers, but this is over our budget.

Linda I vote for the 81 too!
It has a Catbox and Nice Fiberglass racing rudders. And looks like it has been stored indoors.


The 1980 is not to shabby though, It was my 16 a few years ago and is in decent shape ( last time I saw it).

We raced it right before we sold it and came in second place at the Utah Summer Games.
