Now if you want a weird one;
"Catimba" ( spanish slang for beating somebody up )
Or.... "Catacumba" ( the burial sites of old tribes )
Or..... "Dog enemy #1" ( Cat )
Or..... "Catarro" ( spanish for Flu or Cold )
Or...."Cate nene" ( spanish for Shut Up Boy !!! )
Or.... "Cat & Dog" ( the Catamaran and You )

If you do a web search for boat names there are a couple of sites that will give you a whole list of ideas. After restoring my first 16 in lime green, I went with "Green Lightning."

The first time I single handed my Hobie in a REALLY stiff breeze without a trapeze felt like I had ridden through the gauntlet on one hull and had narrowly avoided bodily harm.

I hadn't experienced anything like it. After hanging on for DEAR LIFE and whooping at the top of my lungs for an hour or so, I beached the boat (a 14T at the time) and basically collapsed in the sand, what a rush that had been.

There were a group people getting off their Boston whaler that had seen me skipping across the reservoir and they asked how much fun that was. I said i felt like I had been to hell and back, and wanted MORE!

So, I named my 14T "Two Hull and Back." My new boat, a 16 has been christened "Two Hull and Back Again"

Branch_manager- I can relate to feeling run thru the wringer while on my 14T a few times in a blow. Sometimes I let it push me further knowing a pitch pole was eminent and I didn't care cause it was such a blast! I never did name her though cause I've only had her for 1/2 a season and since upgrading to H16, it's for sale.

Janek.w- As for the new boat, my H16 is aptly named "Liquid Therapy" for it's ability to take my mind elsewhere. Take your time in choosing a name that fits both your boat and what it means to you. Good luck!

My wife named my Hobie "my Ho". My brother called me one time and my wife said "He is out in the shop, buffing his Ho". Get it?

Every time I see that sail and hull style I always think of Charlie Brown and the Peanuts crew. So I was thinking

Jackalope
Peanuts
Charlie Brown
Snoopy

Or you could go for the obvous fall colors and call it
Windfall

My fishin boat is Reel Knotty

At first my wife named the hobie "Not In My Back Yard" or NIMBY. I was going to go with "Knot Fishing" to keep the knot in the fleet. Since I'm not finished restoring her yet I think I have changed my mind yet again. I'm in sales so now i'm leaning towards "A Sail's Call".

I'm in sales to. I can see me telling the office I'm going to make a "sails call".

Nice one
