I can still find the old holes with a little work. At least I don't have the gel coat on yet.

just saying thats a lot of weight to push down on the hulls. Usually you apply a little pressure with the palm of your hand to test for soft spots. Your palm is what, 4sq inches with 100lbs of weight on it is a lot of pressure! you might cause the soft spots your're looking for!

i know what you meant. After reading of guys spending lots of time and money on restoring hulls only to have them fail, I wanted to make sure what i had was worth my time. And in my normal style... if its worth doing its worth over doing. I'll treat her a little lighter from now on.
