We did boomless mains in the US for the Hobie 16 years ago... not a good seller for us.

Matt,

Do you know where I can still buy a boomless h16 sail? Somewhere in Europe? I have kids and a boomless sail would be helpful at times, subject to price of course.

Thanks.

You would have to have one made custom I think.

Wouldn't the sail off the 15 work? It might sit a little higher as the luff is probable shorter.

I agree those Euro H16 Easy/Juniors are intruiging. There are other boomless cats avial from Hobie Europe that we cannot get here, which are pretty cool. Check them out here http://www.hobie-cat.net/site_gb/?produits,produits I like the 15.

But why NOT just use a Getaway sail? The GTW mast is nearly the same height, maybe a foot shorter. But the luff is shorter too, so it seems it would fit? As long as the foot is equal to or shorter than the length of the tramp, it should work, right? But that may be the problem. The GTW tramp is quite large. Anybody have dimensions handy?

Since they apparently still make the boomless mains in Europe, couldn't you just order one from Hobie Europe without the battens, (to make shipping cheaper), and use a credit card to pay for it?
