Hi:
I have a 2003 H16 which I just picked up and am looking to put a Bob on it. It has the comp tip on the mast. I am seeing conflicting info on which one I need to buy the Baby or the Mama bob?

Do they just bolt on or do I have to drill?

cheers

Either one will work. I like the baby bob on the 16 comptip the mama is too dang big. Plenty of boyancy with the baby. You have to drill out the stock rivets, then the kit comes with stainless bolts. Seal up your mast as a first defense.

Thanks for that.

Read that some people were implying the baby wasn't good with the comp tip but then Hobie lit says it is.

Just wanted to get the real story so to speak.

cheers and thanks for the quick reply.

We have a 16' Hobie. This spring we installed a Baby Bob. It is perfect for a 16'. We have a comtip mast and it just required drilling an extra hole. Bobs do work! I am glad we bought one.
