I am replacing the rope that connected my dogbones to the bungee cords for my trap wires. I purchased the required 1/4" dacron rope and new rope locks. What I don't know is the best type of knot to use to ensure that they stay tied!

Recommendations?

Closest I could come to what we do. You must remember the "end all" bowline knot doesn't stay tied under no load.

figure eight knot. Normally a stop knot but can also be tied around something.

Gets tighter, the more it is used.

cheers
