What is the distance from the rear of the boom to the bail on new 16's?

Is this dimension (new boats) different than to the rear bail on the old booms, with two bails?

Yes the bale is positioned differently on newer boats. It will be measured from the front.

Boom on my parts shelf roughly measures 82.25" from the forward end of the boom extrusion to the top rivet location of the bale. The 2003 drawing looks to be 82.5"
