Hi forum members

I am the extremely happy owner of a used H16 that i bought this summer. It is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Me and my crew has kapseized 5-6 times but this weekend was the first time we couldn't right the boat by ourselves due to wind pressure on the tramp. We are both 75 kg's, i.e. total crew weigth 150 kgs. Winds 10 m/s and no signifant wawes. We couldn't turn the boat away from the wind seemed to be the biggest problem - any tips on how to do that easy? we tried paddling the stern but always ended up having the wind blowing in a 90 degrees angle towards the boat making it impossible to tight - tips anyone?

BTW a nice sailing boat helped us out after we had been in the water for 30 mins or so :-)

Best
Rasmus

Try standing towards the front of the pontoon that is in the water. This will raise the stern and the wind against the bottom of the trampolene should help turn it around.
