I have relatively new sails that came with numbers and letters. I'd like to remove them and apply my own. I think Hobie sails are Dacron.

Can anyone answer a few questions:
How do I remove them, chemicals, etc.?
What's the best material to use for new letters?
Does anyone make custom logos, letters and numbers for sails?

Thanks,

Han

Sail numbers can be peeled off. Use zippo lighter fluid to remove any left over adhesive. I got this tip from the local sailmaker. Any sailmaker can supply sticky back sail number material that you can cut out. I think Hobie sells sail numbers too

cheers
