Thanks for all the help, I am getting pretty close to my first test float as long as ebay treats me nice.

I just went through my standing rigging as I hardly looked at what I bought before just got the rig down in a hurry and took it home.

I wasn't imagining it though, I seem to have two sets of shrouds. Both rigged to the same shackle at the top and the same adjuster plate at the bottom. As I recall they were slightly different lengths ( one seemed tighter than the other ).

WTF ????

Maybe they were backup shrouds incase they snapped?
Some people are a bit paranoid about that

What is the diameter of the wire? If it's 1/8th then they are standing rig, if they're 3/32 they're trap wires. Does your mast tang have one hole or 3? Also, the older trap wires were 7X19 3/32", and different lengths for the skipper and crew. Are you sure you're not rigging it with the trap wires?

The shrouds should be around 19'.
