Does anyone know if you can replace the jib blocks of an H16 with those of an H18? The numbers in the parts catalog do not match up, and I am not concerned with being race legal.

Which blocks?

The turning blocks that shackle to the clew plate on the jib, yes.

The blocks with the cleat that mount to the front crossbar, no. Well, I guess theoretically you could use them, but it would work very poorly. The stack-up is way too high and the block would flop all over the place making uncleating very difficult.
