 Post subject: soft spot repair

i was wondering how long does the soft spot repair last i'm thinking it's only a temporary repair or am i up in the night?

It depends.

Soft spots are like cancer. Sometimes the cure works permanently (at least until something else major breaks) and sometimes there's a recurrence.

Just keep an eye on it and fix anything new that shows up.
