Roller Furling Jib Cut '76

Does anyone know the dimensions I would need to get my original '76 jib cut to if I went to the roller furling system, and whether or not I would need to make any other modifications. Also if anyone knows a line on a used roller furling, that would be awesome.

QUESTION: I'm sure there's an obvious reason that escapes me, but why does the roller furling jib have to be a different shape? Every time I look at this pic I sorta scratch my head and wonder why the curved leech won't just roll up with the rest of the sail material. Now who's the moron?!?

From what I can tell, I think the reason why the leach has to be trimmed down is because the jib battens are taken out for the jib to be "rolled". When this is done, and the jib is the original size, the jib leach will flutter in the wind even when it is properly sheeted in. I would imagine this fluttering would cause extensive wear and tear, and would eventually fail? and may be annoying.

Thanks for the link, hopefully I can relay this information to a sail repair shop in the gulf coast area.

I tried my normal jib... it works quite well... but does flutter... my advice... try it before spending the money getting it altered...
you probably wont bother.....
