Hi guys and girls, Sorry to start a new thread on this subject but I have searched and cannot find any answers on it. I have a hobie 16 and recently had the lower rudder casting pushed into the flange on the aft of the boat. The damage has chipped the gelcoat off and delaminated a few layers undeneath of the lower hull flange. The hull is still sealed and bonded and structually good but it is prob 2/3rds of the outer of the flange that is damaged. What is the best way ti fix. Do you gring the damage out with a dremel then laminate new fiber on each :D flange half or should I just leave it. Next year I will regelcoat the hull but would like to get another season out of it first. Any help much appreciated. Thanks. Karl.
