Large area to repair, read different articles from git rot to canned foam,
people have had luck with canned foam, but does not "glue" the layers back together, I like the expanding part of Gorilla Glue to expand into crevices, but more people have used the epoxy method. Then there is the method, inject thru several holes, or inject thru center hole & vents on the outer. What do you think ? thanks,,

I have had very good results when using the procedure in the FAQ section (Git Rot with one main hole and perimiter vent holes). Follow it exactly and you will too.

The idea is to not expand and push the layers futher apart. You want to bond them to each other. You need a penetrating resin to do this.
