I'm going to get to work on my long overdue resotration of my H16, but before I do so, I'm wondering if i should give it white gel coat or tangerine. The sails are well, look at my signature. would it look best white or tangerine.

tangerine.

I just picked up a new spray gun and will get paint for my 16 tomarrow. I am going with yellow hulls and green decks with tequila sunrise sails. Good luck

I think tangerine would be sweet with those sail colors.

SCREAMING neon yellow hulls would look HOT...match that yellow stripe in your sail.

The yellow I went with is called "Corvette Yellow" It apears to be close to the back round color on the Denny's resturaunt signs.

After sanding the old dead paint off, I found my original colors to; white hulls and yellow decks. Just wondering if that is a clue to the year it was Mfg'd ?

Anyone want to venture a guess??? Please

I've always preferred traditional all white everything but yellow would be boss looking with that given sail. Go for it!

The only thing that I would say is that if you go white with gel-coat you don't have to worry about color matching for later (and often unavoidable) damage.
But the yellow is definately going to look better wtih your sails. You should go YELLOW.

I like Yellow :D

One of the good things about gel coat is, the color wet is the same as when its cured. Makes matching colors easy.
