What is the shroud lenght for a 1984 hobie 16 to get efficent mast rake? Are there different lenghts for different years of 16's? If so why is this?

One wire is offered. The length got shorter as mast raked back over the years.

Currently 18' 10 1/4"

I've owned four different hobie 16's over the years and recalled a couple of different mast tang locations on the mast.

Tangs may appear to be at differing positions, but the main shackle hole has been consistent as far as I know.
