Got out in some of the Irene generated wind today... 25 gusting to 30 on the ICW. Before a jib traveler seperated half off the spar, a main block split in two, and the boom seperated from the mast, we clocked 22.3mph(19kts). It was an amazing day despite the breakages. Had trouble tacking with all that wind.

I launch from the Jones st ramp in Mims where the mims yacht club is located. If you've ever been there you know thats a joke in that they could easily have filmed much of the movie Deliverance from that spot. :-)
