Hey guys, I'm new to this forum and a fairly new hobie owner. My hobie has the single pulley style masthead, and I just bought a hobie "baby bob" float for it. I couldn't figure out how install it, and I thought that you had to have a dual pulley masthead for it, so i bought a used one for $45, but I still don't know how to install it.
I don't even know what a comptip is!
Any help would be appreciated.

The 30116 instruction sheet explains it...

On a comptip equiped mast the last (six or so) feet of mast are made from a composit material (glassfiber and epoxy) - Comptip
Your mast has no comptip - you mentioned that you have a single pully on the mast tip.
You might have to drill a hole in the bracket of the bob to bolt through the center of the tip.

The baby bob attaches with 4 screws into the original cast aluminum head. Short self taping screws as explained in the instructions (link posted above).
