I am looking into putting a spinnaker on my 16 for non hobie regattas. does anybody know what the portsmouth rating is with spin? or how you can calculate it?
since this is just to see how fast I can go I may find a spin that is not meant for a 16. how high can a I attach the spin halyard on the mast, in relation to the forces that a comp tip can stand before snapping?
