What is the easiest hobie for singlehanded female novice

I want to learn to sail but will need to trailer, rig, and sail solo. I bought a used H16 in great shape but it is too difficult to rig and launch by myself and I have no beach to leave it on with the mast stepped. Is a Hobie Wave the best idea for me ?

A Wave sounds ideal - you can certainly set it up yourself, you can probably right it yourself, it's nearly indestructable, and you can put a bunch of people on it if you need to.

I am sure the wave would be great but you might look into a used 14. You can find them pretty cheap and they are fast. A 14T will outrun a wave most of the time and they are really easy to set up and launch. I can pull up and be sailing in less than 20 minutes alone.

This is just an idea, I am pretty new to this but I have had a blast on my over the summer, and think that anyone looking to sail solo would love it.

You don't say where you're located. Find a Hobie fleet and attend their functions. You'll get lots of help rigging and learning how to sail. You'll probably find someone that already has a set up to rig a boat solo and you can copy them.

I had my H16 set up so a 100 lb woman could rig it solo. I was sailing with many different people then and I wanted a setup so anyone could rig solo. It took about $50 in materials, and a very easy modification to the trailer to do it. It also worked for taking everything down. Remember, work smarter, not harder. I get to try it out tomorrow. Found a friend of a friend of a friend willing to help (and risk life and limb)
Not entirely certain I have the Jib or the mainsail on right . Winds expected to be 10-15on the lake but like everyone says "Just go Sailing"
I guess I'll find out tomorrow
