My family and I are lucky enough to live a block from Kailua bay on the Island of Oahu. Having windsurfed and kayak the bay over the past 8 years, I always noticed the Hobies and Prindles up on the beach across the bay. Seldom did I see one out sailing though. We purchased an 88 Hobie 16(for a song!) on the north shore about three months ago. Refurbished it and it sits on the beach ready to sail whenever we are. My wife Amy and our 12 year old really enjoy getting out on it and screaming across the bay! Only regret is that we didn't do it sooner!

Aloha,

Bob
