i don't think i have the whole gooseneck. here are pictures. anyone know what i'll need to get this thing back to sail-ready?

yea that not together right....not even close!
you need a downhaul ring and vertex.

okay, i have a downhaul ring. does the bolt/nut go horizontally through the vertex to fix it to the boom pin? if so, does this look like the right size to be a vertex?

if i walked into west marine and asked for a vertex, would they know what i'm referring to?

oh, and what about that piece of rope? is it in the right place? not sure about this stuff.
