Hi guys

I need to do some work to the bottoms of my hulls - filling a few holes and repairing the gel coat. I guess it'll be upside down for about a month. What the best things to put under it? old car tyres, foam insulation...

I'm just a bit concerned that I might end up damaging the top of the hulls if they're not to strong. What does everyone else use?

All the best, Andrew

I'm not intending to dismantle the whole boat - just flip it over.

Are the tops of the hulls strong enough to hold for about a month if I just stick some insulation under them?

The tops of the hulls are plenty strong. But if you're keeping the whole boat together, then just flip it over and put a 4x4 under each corner of the tramp frame. The hulls won't even touch the ground.
