I created a two foot split in the seam of the deck\hull last year. I fixed it by turning it upside down, squeezing epoxy in the seam, and clamping it down. It has worked since then but i want to reinforce it too make me worry free. Any ideas on how to reinforce the seam? i have a 1984 Hobie 16 and it does not have any inspection ports. Thanks!

If the repair was done properly, there is no need to reinforce the seam. Epoxy is stronger than the original glue used to hold the boat together.
