Hello,
Does any one have plans or measurements for a hoist harness to lift a H16 with the mast up from a trailer to the water.
When lifted the H16 bow needs to be slightly lower to keep the mast free of the hoist motor and frame.

I am thinking a large steel O-ring with four lengths of dacron line and locking snap clips.
The lines and snap clips would attach around the four corner posts of the tramp.

What would be the recommended size Dacron line for the weight of a H16?
If someone has already figured out the line lengths that would be great.

Thanks, In advance,
Craig

Simple one is 4 lengths of line. Forwards are short. Large bowline loops on each end of each line. Pass the lines through the loops which is quick and simple (hooks would be quicker) at each corner / pylon. The other four ends meet at the hoist hook. The balance point is just behind the mast. Make them so you can make length adjustments while attached to the hoist. Pull the afts shorter to lift the aft... make them longer to lower the aft till balanced.
