I need help figuring out use of the trapeze set up. I'm very comfortable sailing the hobie and am ready to use the trapeze. I'm confident I have it set up correctly, but not sure about adjustments... I think.
We took the boat out yesterday, albeit in light winds. However, as I had the trap wires set up, I figured, "what the heck" I may as well try to get attached and figure this out. Long story short, I got hiked out, and out, and out, and uh oh, teabagged!

But that was not the end. As I was dragging as_ thru the water with my feet still up on the rail and trying to get hold of something before I went completely in, I came unhooked from the dog bone (actually mine is set up with the wire ring handles). Thankfully, I did get a hold of the shroud, or my son, which allowed me to get back on the boat. I think I came unhooked simply as a function of the angle of the harness hook in relation to the "dog bone". That all being said, do I have something adjusted wrong (rope stop position)? Also, it felt like all that was happening as I "hiked out" was the bungee just kept stretching and would do this regardless the positon of the rope stops. I don't think the rope stop was slipping (I'll have to check). It just did not feel at all secure. Help.
