I am upgrading my jib sytem to new Ronstan jib cars. Does anyone have a recommendation on how to keep the pin up on these so I can adjust them with my barberhauler lines? I'd hate to have to grind the pins off these brand new parts :(

I tied the adjustment line around the pin. Pull the pin up and tie it tightly. I only had a problem a couple of times in two years set up like this. You might be able to put a zip-tie around the pin to hold it up also. That would pretty much guarantee the pin wouldn't go back down.

yea the line should keep the pin up no problem. I do like the idea of the zip tie!

I did the same upgrade and what the instructions say is to tie a figure 8 know around the pin. I did it like that and it hold the pin up no problem.

You are gonna love the new set up. It makes alot of difference! :D
