So I just replaced my rudder cams as the old one were shot, now I have the problem of the cams locking down whenever I jerk the tiller arms up to pull the rudders up, So when I go to drop the rudders back down the cams are already locked down and I'm unable to lock the rudders down.

Any suggestions ?

Slack off the screw that holds the spring and plunger in the bottom of the rudder casting.
