Hobie 16 Gennaker

Hello dear Hobie friends,

We are new to the forum and would like to introduce ourselves and also have some questions.

We are Tine and Timo, 43 years old and we love driving our HOBIE.

We currently live in Germany.

Our question is, on the one hand, does anyone still have a gennaker for a Hobie 16, preferably complete, and on the other hand, has anyone ever used or built a roll gennaker?

Great to hear of your enjoyment with your Hobie.

On my old SX18, I added a Tiger Spinnaker, which gave us a terrific sail.

Then I bought a H16, with spinnaker.....which I have now removed.
I find the boat is only faster in light winds....
In strong winds, I prefer the stock set up.

Hobie Europe sells the standard Hobie spinnaker set up.
You will have to made a custom Genaker set up on your own.
