The only near turtle I had was wind induced, something like a failed roll tack, with high wind lifting and flipping the boat backwards. I had someone with me, to keep it from going turtle.
So, just releasing the sheets and turning the boat into the wind has worked for you, solo? Have you ever had to swim out to the end of the mast to turn the boat, solo? I've been able to do everything pretty quickly, releasing sheets and getting on the hulls - but I'm just wondering if there is time to do that, if needed.
