Hi, The front crossbar on my H16 has a weld (about 1 1/2" long to starboard) done by the prev owner.

Apparently it sustained a hairline crack under the starboard jib trav track (top part) and he got it welded to fix it. I havent tightened the dolphin striker to the tension that I would like thinking that this weld may fail while on a crazy reach or something and be catastrophic.

Anyways will the new front crossbar with the integrated track fit properly in the old corner castings? Is it the same extrusion except for the tracks?

thanks!
